First class equipment for first responders

As a law enforcement and public safety officer, you are called upon to perform nearly every type of task imaginable. You are our first line of defence for every conceivable type of emergency that we face each day. Unfortunately, in the case of Sudden Cardiac Death, most of law enforcement professionals have only CPR to use as a tool to try to save a victim's life.

The number one killer in Ireland is Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS), killing more than 16,000 people a year. It can strike anyone, anywhere, at any time, and in most cases, without warning. Since you are likely to be the first professional on the scene, you need the right equipment to respond immediately and effectively.

Without treatment, victims have only minutes to live. With quick response, this condition is readily treatable with survival rates well over 50%.

As you know, sudden Cardiac Arrest is caused by chaotic electrical activity in the heart and can only be treated with defibrillation. Recent advances in modern technology have made cost-effective Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) accessible to all first responders.

Unfortunately, budgetary constraints have meant that many services don't have the equipment they need to save victims of this treatable condition. Now, there is something you can do to improve the odds dramatically for you and the public you protect. Defibtech has designed an AED for you.

Defibtech AEDs are particularly well suited for the harsh conditions that are frequently encountered by first responders every day. Our defibrillators are rugged, low-maintenance, and extremely cost effective. From the built-in carrying handle designed to accommodate even a gloved hand, to the non-slip rubberised surfaces on a hardened lightweight case, Defibtech AEDs are professional grade equipment you can count on at price you can afford. Intuitive and practical real-world design simplifies operation even during the most difficult rescues.

The bottom line is that your squad can now afford the most advanced life-saving equipment on the market.

Key advantages of the Defibtech AED:

  1. Durability for harsh environments and rapid deployment
  2. Compact and self-contained to save much-needed space in a vehicle
  3. Light and portable for easy transport in an emergency
  4. Cost-effective - freeing up resources to be used for other equipment
  5. Simple but advanced technology for all levels of volunteer and professional responders
  6. Exclusive 7-year battery for frequent/extended use
  7. Superb environmental protection
  8. Field-proven design

Free Service Checks -- every two years we will call to the location where the AED is installed and do a free full service check this includes any software or protocols updates on the unit to assure you that your AED is ready to perform a rescue.

Warranty -- the Defibtech Lifeline AED has a full five-year warranty from date of purchase. In the unlikely event that the unit requires maintenance we will collect the unit and install a new replacement within one working day while the unit is serviced.

Medical Overview -- We can provide you with AED policies for your workplace or community group also after you use the AED unit, if you require we will provide you with a free medical audit as recorded by the unit.

Review Software -- The AED records 15 minutes of medical data internally, which can be accessed with the aid of our free software. An optional data card can be added to record both extended amounts of ECG data and audio for a full event review.
